The Authorization Process Manager^TM for integration with mySAP? Business Suite applications has been certified as an ”SAPCertified Integration” and a ”Certified for SAP NetWeaver^®” solution.

The Authorization Process Manager^TM is an add-on web service solution developed by AppliCon Solutions A/S for SAP^® customers faced with the challenging task of maintaining the integrity of their organization’s authorization processes. The Authorization Process Manager^TM effectively automates authorization error handling, generates documentation and reduces time-consuming manual tasks. As such the Authorization Process Manager^TM eliminates bottlenecks in the authorization process while keeping the security of the organization intact.

The Authorization Process Manager^TM acts as the central point for testing authorizations in your entire SAP^® system landscape that may consist of several different installations and applications. By only logging on to one system your authorization team has a complete overview of all test projects and error reports across all systems and can access and correct these directly, with remote logon where necessary.

The Authorization Process Manager^TM consists of four primary process flows.

The Authorization Team – Builds the test case in the Test Management:

• Authorization test projects are defined
• Roles and transaction codes to be tested are selected
• Test users are automatically created for the selected roles and transaction codes

The Tester – Executes the test from the Test Interface:

• The Test Interface gives the tester a complete overview of what is to be tested, the progress and direct access to the transactions
• Authorization errors are corrected immediately by the tester
• Error reporting is automated and are stored in the database

The Authorization Team – Analyses and corrects all errors from the Authorization Cockpit^TM:

• Errors are analyzed by using the Authorization Process Manager^TM analysis tools
• Error corrections are executed and documentation for the error report is automatically generated

The Production User – Reports authorization errors:

• Errors are reported through the easy to use error reporting in the Authorization Process Manager^TM
• By using the analysis tools the authorization team can quicker correct the error
• Error reports and corrections for these in the production environment are fully documented
